Today we pieced together our
voicethread projects and in it I included information about how averting your
eye contact is a sign of respect among aboriginals. It is important to know this because now I
won’t be offended should I be treating an aboriginal that won’t look at
me. We also included information about
how women are treated like property.
This is similar to our country and culture a few centuries ago. We used to treat women like we owned them and
that all they were for was to stay at home and watch after our children.
